Marketing Your Utah Home: What to Expect during Your Open House

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

If your UT home is for sale – whether in Park City, Sundance, Utah County or surrounding areas – there’s a good chance your real estate agent will discuss the benefits of an open house with you. Open houses have long been a part of the home sale experience, since it allows prospective buyers to take a “low-key” approach while they browse the merchandise. It also gives your real estate agent the chance to network with a large number of potential buyers all at one time. In some cases, it also means you’ll finally sell that home!

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Most prospective homebuyers in the Park City, Sundance, Utah County Utah areas already know that when it comes to purchasing real estate, location is key. It doesn’t matter whether you’re looking to make a profit on your new home or if you simply want a place that will help you raise your family – the neighborhood you choose to call your own is just as important as those details of square footage, number of bathrooms, and central air.

Unique Mapleton Estate

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

Here is one of the most incredible properties in Utah County.  The land, the size, the quality are all hard to beat.

When the owner of this magnificent home first approached the builder, Chad Davis, he presented him with a rare opportunity and challenge.  The goal was to build the highest quality home possible.  There would be no budget or time constraints.  Everything, however, had to be built to a standard of quality and excellence.  After three and a half years the dream was fulfilled and they were able to step back and admire this artistic masterpiece of architecture and construction.

Get the Most Out of Your Square Footage

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

If you’re getting ready to sell your Park City, Sundance or Utah County home, you know that one of the most important things you can do to increase your sale price is to spend some time staging. After all, the better your home looks, the better the chances are that someone else will love it enough to buy it, too. However, many of the homes for sale in the Utah area are smaller in size than what’s currently hot on the market. While this doesn’t mean you can’t sell your home, it does mean that it might take a little extra work before you get that figure you’re aiming for.

Utah Luxury Home

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

There are a lot of luxury homes for sale in the state of Utah. In fact, the idea of what a luxury home is can be subjective. You have probably come across listings that refer to homes priced far below one million dollars as exclusive luxury homes. Perhaps they are…to some. A true luxury home offers something different: something you can’t easily find or replicate something with exceptional quality and design, and most importantly, something that stands out. Let me tell you about one such home.

Ways to Increase your Home’s Value

Monday, January 18th, 2010

When you first purchase a house in Park City, Sundance or Utah County, you’re most likely thinking of ways to build a home for you and your family. A big yard means plenty of room for the children to play. A newly renovated kitchen means you can finally throw the types of dinner parties you’ve always wanted. A master suite, well, that’s just icing on the cake. However, when it comes to sell your Utah home, it’s important to remember that all those little (and big) changes can also mean big little (and big) changes in your sale price.

Hobble Creek Canyon, A Hidden Gem

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

I was first introduced to Hobble Creek Canyon as a teenager some twenty five years ago.  Since that time I have spent hours upon hours in the canyon.  I have traveled over much of the canyon and its side canyons on horseback and snowmobile.  In fact, some of my fondest rides have been up Right Hand Fork.  I have hiked up many of the steep ridges to heights where I have been able to look out and see the undulating contours of the land; such scenes that leave you almost breathless.  I have fished Hobble Creek and marveled that there could be so many trout in such a small creek.  I have camped and hunted and photographed the area.  And, of course, I have lost more golf balls than I care to admit at the incredibly beautiful Hobble Creek Golf Course.
